"Last
Monday I gave my 3 hour lecture - successfully and with some pizzazz,
and a lot of credit goes to you! I had the wonderful feeling that
I would move right into it and give it and that's the bottom line.
Later
I had an hour long review of the presentation with my two
mentors and, really, their only criticism was that I gave too
much information, which makes me smile, easily correctable.
When
I was aware of the sound of my voice - it sounded pretty good to
me. I had trouble with fluency on a couple of words, but it wasn't
major. Several times I saw difficulty coming up, prepared myself
a little, and the phrases rolled out. They could hear me at the
back of the room, it flowed quite well - considering it was 3 hours
long, with breaks, and contained so much, and was heartfelt where
it needed to be. I do believe I am going to make it as an instructor,

relationship with Carol for 15 years. I originally asked Carol to
help in preparing engineering project managers and teams to make
final oral proposal presentations. These presentations were
typically for contracts involving billion dollar commitments. Carol
